Philosophy

The MOGAMI brand stands for quality, integrity and ethical practices. For over 40 years, every single metre of MOGAMI cable has been manufactured in the company’s factory in Nagano, Japan. President Koichi Hirabayashi routinely monitors the production processes running on machines built by his father. MOGAMI’s philosophy has always been focussed on true craftsmanship, the best materials, innovative research as well as intensive testing.

Many of the company’s thirty staff have been with MOGAMI for several decades. Here, every step in the production process is executed with the greatest care and meticulous attention to detail. The result: Precise signal transfer with no colouring of the signal’s sonic characteristics.

Quality standards this stringent are never compromised on cost grounds. MOGAMI also refuses to mimic the developments of other brands or outsource manufacturing externally. In today’s competitive market, that’s exceedingly rare. MOGAMI is committed to a responsible manufacturing ethos and was one of the first cable manufacturers to implement to RoHS directive. The solder used during manufacture is, of course, lead free.

10-Year Warranty

At cma audio GmbH we are convinced of the outstanding quality of MOGAMI’s cable products. That’s why we’re pleased to offer a 10-year warranty on all MOGAMI cables fully assembled at the MOGAMI factory.

Our principle here is simple: No exceptions.

Should your MOGAMI cable stop working, just send it directly back to us at cma audio GmbH with a copy of the receipt. For a period of ten years from the date of original purchase, we’ll swap your faulty cable for a new one. It’s as simple as that.

For decades, every single MOGAMI cable has been assembled under the supervision of company owner and head of R&D, Koichi Hirabayashi, by employees of many years’ standing. Many of these cable product lines are still highly regarded by hi-fi enthusiasts, enjoying an excellent reputation as outstanding examples of Japanese master craftsmanship. However, they have been unavailable to consumers for several years. We are proud to be able once again to offer these hi-fi cables, this time handmade in Germany.

Our technicians have over 25 years of experience in the studio and installation industries. Each step of the assembly process for your cable is executed with the greatest attention to detail and enormous technical expertise. Each cable is subjected to an exacting QA regime before being cleared for dispatch to the customer.
